Sara & David

Sara and David met and fell in love in chemistry class back in their University of Michigan days. We thought this story was so charming and the perfect opportunity to play around with a little science meets pretty. Their RSVP postcard was our favorite piece to design because the couple gave us a list of items that was significant in telling their love story. The complete suite turned out to be sweet chemistry.

My Love, My Deer

Katy and Giff were married on a family ranch in Sandpoint, Idaho on July 31st. The ranch style wedding inspired itself perfectly to a wood invitation. Their deer and flower logo, is a nod to their engagement story, and was letterpressed into a birch veneer and then backed with a ditsy floral fabric. It was accompanied by a letterpresses RSVP postcard and welcome drinks invitation. The logo and design aesthetic were carried throughout the wedding creating a beautifully sweet sensation! All of the below pictures were taken by Sean Watson Photo.

Jessie & Andy

Jessie and Andy got married in a backyard Oktoberfest inspired wedding this past Fall. Their custom designs incorporated the brides passion for painting, their love for wild animals and of course beer! A letterpressed beer coaster was a great way to ask people to Save the Date. The invitation was silkscreened on a large piece of ripped painters canvas. The RSVP card & return envelope were off-set printed. The elements were packaged together with a hand died cluny lace belly band. The custom wedding logo was carried out through the wedding on tote bags and etched into beer and wine glasses. The overall feeling was playful beauty! All of the below pictures were taken by photographer Henry Chan excluding the save the date, invitation, and tote bag.

Sylva & Peter

Photos taken by little.owl.play

When Sylva and Peter aren't doting over there beloved rescue dog Soju, they are spending their free time volunteering at shelters around the city. Their big love for animals was a fun and must-have element integrated into their custom design. The invitation set was letterpressed and packaged in a hand-made pouch with a ribbon closure that included a variety of 4 buttons. All together the mix of pattern, vintage touches, plus pretty white textures, created the perfect charming combination. A Day of Bliss Wedding Photography by Wolfgang Freithof Studio, no surprise he did a stunning job capturing the invitation perfectly. Especially love the kitty! Check out his gorgeous photos below.

A Sweet Combination

Charlotte, a native New Yorker and her fiance Justin, a Georgia boy, came to us to create their very special wedding invitations. After talking with the couple we decided what better to represent these two then the fruits of their home towns, the Apple and the Peach. The main logo was inspired from a vintage fruit wrapper, and the cloth pouches a nod to old jelly jar lids cover in fabric. The southern style seersucker is also the same fabric of the brides maid dresses. Overall, we think these beautiful invitations set the mood perfectly for an Upstate NY backyard summer wedding, while bringing in some southern charm!

Book of Love

A lot of love went into Mary's wedding invitation. It was a dream project for the both of us. The invite was all very handmade with the exception of the letterpress cards. The letterpress was printed by gilah press + design. As you can see they did a beautiful job. The front and back cover was wrapped in book cloth and stamped with a Gocco Press. The inside pages of the book were created with kraft paper. It was all packaged up in a muslin cloth envelope that was then mailed in a kraft paper envelope. It really was a true representation of Mary and Dave. It also conveyed the feeling of an outdoor vintage styled wedding to come. We must give a big thanks too all of our friends and Mary's sisters who tirelessly helped us glue and sew into the wee hours of the evening. Now, that is true friendship...Cheers!
